  Young Women in Public Affairs Scholarship
   

The Zonta Club of Lafayette is accepting applications for the Young Women in Public Affairs scholarship.  The deadline for applying is March 3, 2007.  Click here for the scholarship application form in a PDF file.  Click here for the scholarship application in a Word file.

  Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarships Program
 
   

The Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarships encourage undergraduate women to enter careers and seek leadership positions in business management.
 

   

Established from a bequest by Jane M. Klausman, a member of the Zonta Club of Syracuse, New York, USA, and the 1990-1995 Zonta International Parliamentarian, in 1998, the Scholarships have provided 102 scholarships to women in 23 countries.
 

   

Women pursuing undergraduate business studies who demonstrate outstanding potential in the field are eligible to apply. Applicants must have completed two to three years in an accredited undergraduate program and exhibit outstanding academic credentials.
 

   

Zonta International provides five $4000 scholarships, each of the 30 Zonta Districts provide $400 scholarships and local clubs provide additional scholarships.
 

   

The Zonta Club of  Lafayette  provides one $500 scholarship for eligible local women.  The Lafayette Club winner is then forwarded to Zonta District 10 for further consideration for the International Award.

  Zonta Club of Lafayette Mary Dichmann English Scholarship
 
   

The Mary Dichmann English Scholarship encourages undergraduate women to enter careers and seek leadership positions in English.
 

   

 Professor of the English Department at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Women pursuing undergraduate English who demonstrate outstanding potential in the field are eligible to apply. Applicants must be a junior or senior in the undergraduate program and exhibit outstanding academic credentials.
 

   

Zonta Club of Lafayette provides one $500 scholarship yearly. Since its inception, 5 scholarships have been awarded to women at ULL.
 

  Zonta Louisiana Woman’s Scholarship
 
   

Zonta Louisiana Woman's Scholarship encourages a woman who is the major wage earner of her family to continue her education.

   

Established in 1992 by the Zonta Club of Lafayette along with the Zonta Clubs of Baton Rouge, New Orleans and Shreveport, Louisiana.
 

   

A woman pursuing any degree accepted at a Louisiana University, College or Vocational Technical School can apply. Scholarship may be used for any expenses to help the woman achieve her degree.
 

   

One $2000 scholarship is awarded yearly.
 

   

Zonta Club of Lafayette provides $500 towards this scholarship.

Zonta Club of Lafayette Woman’s Scholarship encourages a women who is the major wage earner of her family to continue their education.
 

   

Established in 2003 by the Zonta Club of Lafayette to expand on the Zonta Louisiana Woman’s Scholarship in the Lafayette area.  The recipient will be chosen from the local applicants received by the Lafayette Club for the Zonta Louisiana Woman’s Scholarship.
 

   

A woman pursuing any degree accepted at a Louisiana University, College or Vocational Technical School can apply. Scholarship may be used for any expenses to help the woman achieve her degree.
 

   

Zonta Club of Lafayette provides one $500 scholarship awarded yearly in the fall.
