conjunction with International Rose Day, each spring the
Zonta Club of Lafayette chooses a Community Woman of Achievement for her outstanding giving of self,
time and monies through out her life.

The Zonta Club of Lafayette has named Marcelle
Citron
as their Woman of Achievement for 2009.
Marcelle was honored at the Annual Woman of
Achievement and Scholarship Banquet on Thursday,
March 25, 2010 at a la cart restaurant at 6:30 pm.
She is the
founder of Food Ned and is very involved in many
community projects. She was presented with
a key to the city of Lafayette as well as a
letter from Bishop Harry Flynn.
