The  Zonta Club of Lafayette are proudly welcomes Carolina Cruz-Neira as the newest member of the club.  The Daily Advertiser Article below describes her recognition for her "extraordinary achievements in developing the CAVE Automatic Virtual Environment"
 

 

Pictured in photo is Zonta Club of Lafayette charter member JoAnn Pugh with a flag that her Marine son Michael Pugh delivered to her on his recent R&R trip home.

The certificate reads:  "This is to certify that the accompanying American flag was flown by a United States Marine Corps Honor Guard over the United States Embassy Kabul, Afghanistan during OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM, January 31, 2005.  In honor of the Pugh Family."
